Slantly is a simple but robust platform that allows publishers of any size to build discussions and opinions around their content. Slantly started as a simple site that asks whether you agree or disagree with another user's statement and lets you debate your position. Now Slantly has grown into an instant community hub for websites with polls, comment discussions and a username to carry that discussion Web-wide.

At Internet Broadcasting, I worked on this project (as well as NowLocal) building mock-ups and designing a logical user flow for both the client-side experiences and publisher interfaces. Alongside fellow designer Doug Peterson, I worked with a great team of web developers and programmers while Slantly was in beta. I help create the idea of “riffs”—small, single line responses to arguments—and established the look and feel of Slantly Spaces, a highly customizable aggregator of discussion streams and publisher-generated polls. I also handled a redesign of the home page and the interfaces for the creation and distribution of polls.

All design, logos and concepts are the property of Internet Broadcasting.
