Instead of publishing a traditional annual, The Ithacan decided to start publishing a free book at the end of the year highlighting the year’s best stories and photographs and profiling the year’s biggest newsmakers. I was the lead designer and editor of the Year In Review’s second edition, designing the overall theme and directing a team of designers to lay out all 150 pages in just three weeks.

No senior portraits, no dedicated pages to every club, no signature pages. Year In Review is a unique keepsake that we give to students to remember each year, from playoff berths to hazing scandals.
